Title Sponsors: Saunier Duval is a manufacturer of hot water heaters and heating and air conditioning systems. Scott became a title sponsor for the 2008 season.
Established as Saunier Duval-Prodir in 2004, the team has had success in one-day races such as Classica San Sebastian and in 2006 the team had its most successful Tour de France ever, as little known rider David de La Fuente almost won the Maillot Pois as Best Climber. The 2007 season saw the emergence of Italian rider Riccardo Ricco. A superb climber, Ricco finished second in the 2008 Giro d'Italia to Alberto Contador, and who will ride the Tour de France this year. Saunier Duval-Scott will also focus on the likes of Cobo and De La Fuente for this years Tour results.
