Garmin-Chipotle's US National TT Champ Dave Zabriskie Tests CamelBak's RaceBak

At the recent Interbike Bicycle Expo in Las Vegas, Team Garmin-Chipotle announced a new sponsorship for 2009, with hydration innovator CamelBak signing on as official supplier of water bottles and hydration systems for the American squad, which will become a ProTour formation in 2009. “Our riders were impressed by the Podium bottle, the RaceBak and the technology innovation it represented,” said Matt Johnson, President of Slipstream Sports. “We approached CamelBak because of our own commitment to technology and to improving cycling overall.” Garmin-Chipotle will use a special-edition CamelBak-Slipstream Podium™ bottle in the team’s signature argyle with the proceeds of bottle sales to benefit Slipstream Sports’ 100% Clean, the teams anti-doping program. Garmin-Chipotle will also use utilize the CamelBak's innovative, new wearable hydration product, the RaceBak™, a base-layer with built-in hydration capabilities.
