Dedaelemeni: Delicious Bars & Stems Served Up Campagnola Cremasco Style
Dedaelementi and Dedaccai are consistently among the most innovative companies in the bicycle industry; every year, their cockpit collection and tubular tubesets offer something new and different that usually set the standard in the industry for their respective catergories.

For 2009, Dedaelementi has a new carbonfibre handlebar called Presa, with short drops (128mm), short reach (77mm) and is available in 42-44-46cm outside measure, and claimed weight is 210g. Ferocious Mr. Fulvio Acquati, Dedaelementi's managing director told Road Bike Action "we have a new concept for our handlebars this year, called RHM (Rapid Hand Movement), which can improve and facilitate quick changes of hand position. Dedaelementi's Presa will come out in an alloy version called Fluida in white and black version.

Another new handlebar from Dedaelementi is the Nuova Sfida, a carbon wrapped alu bar with RHM
in a shallow shape with 75mm reach, 128mm drop and 310g. weight.

The Zero100 handlebars are in 7075T6 triple butted alloy with 128mm drop, 75mm reach,
weight 240 grams and a special flat-top shape for extra comfort.

Koga-Miyata: You Say Chimera, They Say Kimera
This Dutch firm's slogan is "The Quality People In Cycling" and they are well-know for solid road, touring and trekking bikes. Team Skil-Shimano rides a Koga-Miyata Team Edition made in triple-hardened and triple-butted 7005 aluminium, but Koga-Miyata's road version of their Kimera track bike was one of the
most eye-catching road bikes at Eurobike.

K-M's Kimera track bike won an industrial design award earlier this year for "Good Industrial Design",
GIO (Good Industrieel Ontwerp) and Dutch woman's phenom Marinne Vos rode her Kimera track bike
to a gold medal in the Beijing Olympics Points race.

The Kimera (a chimera is half lion, half dragon) was developed in cooperation with, TNO sports and former TNO and Stork Aerospace employees who had previously worked on the development of the Ariane–5 space rocket and on the Joint Strike Fighter project. Maximum frame stiffness and minimal weight have trickled down from the Kimera Track to the new carbon composite frame of the Kimera Road, according to K-M. Made in Ulthyma 1k weave ultra high modulus carbon fibre, and clearly inspired by the Specialized Roubaix and Wilier Cento, this Kimera Road show bike may be commercialized in 2009 by Koga-Miyata.
