Bianchi will be on the 2012 Giro d'Italia's starting line with two
different teams: alongside Vacansoleil-DCM World Tour team (above), Androni Giocattoli
will have the opportunity to repeat last year's deeds after getting one of the
wild cards released by RCS Sport, pink race's organizer, on Tuesday, January
10th.
Two-time Italian team championship winner Androni Giocattoli, equipped with
Bianchi Oltre model, was in the spotlight at 2011 Giro d'Italia nearly every
day. Gianni Savio's athletes achieved fifteen Top-10 placements (clinching 2
second, 1 third, 5 fourth and 1 fifth positions) and won two stages. Venezuelan
Josè Rujano claimed an unforgettable feat on the Grossglockner top mountain
finish and the seventh place overall. Italian Professional team has been invited
even at Giro di Lombardia, another World Tour race organized by RCS Sport and
scheduled on September 29th.
Androni Giocattoli riders and staff met for the first training camp in
Cesenatico, Italy, on December 9th-18th. The Italian Pro Continental team
will officially open the racing season on January 23rd, at the Tour de San Luis
in Argentina and on January 25th at Tour de India.

Colombia Coldeportes, the new Pro Continental road team supplied by Bianchi
with the Sempre model, has been invited to enter three RCS Sport’s World Tour
events: Tirreno-Adriatico, Milano-Sanremo and Giro di Lombardia. The Colombian
team has been chosen due to the high expectation of his Colombian riders. Team
manager Claudio Corti and Coldeportes are building a completely new team that
can reach the highest level in performance cycling in the next years and Bianchi
is proud partner and official bike sponsor of this project.
