Quick Step's Addy Engels of the Netherlands powers his Eddy Merckx EMX-5 across the course at the 2011 Cancer Council Classic.

Quick Step has stuck with Eddy Merckx machines for 2011, their primary race bike being the EMX-5. Like Omega Pharma Lotto, Quick Step is running Campagnolo Record 11-speed drivetrains. Quick Step is also sporting Campy wheels with Vittoria tires, Tacx bottle cages, Prologo saddles and FSA bars, stems and seat posts.

In addition to saddles, Prologo is also providing Quick Step with handlebar tape to wrap around their FSA bars. BBB is supplying Quick Step with computers, as well as helmets, sunglasses and other tools.

The Merckx EMX-5 features internally-routed shifting and brake cables, complete with barrel adjusters just below the stem/handlebars. FSA is handling all of the cockpit duties, including the headset.
