FEATURES: VEGAS HANGOVER PART 2
October 2, 2009

Eddy Merckx has been working with Pinarello and the result is the EMX-5. The EMX-5 features Merkcx's classic Century geometry and the same Toray carbon fiber Pinarello uses in their legendary Paris. While the look is still Merckx, the Pinarello influence can be seen in the curved seatstays and wave shaped fork. Along with design influences, the EMX-5 on display also featured Pinarello's in house brand carbon seatpost and stem and bar combo.

First seen at the Giro d'Italia under team LPR Brakes-Farnese Vini riders Danilo Di Luca and Alessandro Petacchi. De Rosa accomplishes this with a new tubeset design, carbon layup and and a straighter more responsive fork.

Standing out from all the high end carbon fiber wonder bikes was this beautiful black and gold plated Colnago 55th anniversary limited edition Master. The bike was outfitted with a full Campagnolo Carbon Record group and host of black and gold carbon components.  Needless to say it grabbed a lot of attention.

New for 2010, Northwave is launching the Razor cyclocross shoe. The Razor features medium depth tread blocks that split the difference between a fully cleated mountain bike shoe and a minimal traction road shoe.
